To become a Full active Wizard, there are a few things that must be done to be considered. You must

Either get Sorted by the Sorting Hat, or Go to the Job Application thread to be considered if you may qualify for a job.
If you chose to be a student you must then sign up for the mandatory and extra classes, found in the Corridor of Knowledge.
Once when you make a full 20 posts, you will then be considered a Full Active Wizard.

If you do not plan on participating at The Dark Mark, then please reconsider joining, because at the end of term there will always be a student clean out; when we delete all of the inactive Wizards of the forum.

Please note that once when you register you must have a first and last name of your character before you start to Role Play.

There are 6 Mandatory classes at Hogwarts, that all members must take. They are Potions, Transfigurations, Herbology, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and History of Magic.
There is also 4 Extra classes that you decided if you wish to take a course.
At the end of the term, the professors and myself will decide who goes up a year by how we they do in class, or if they even go at all. Once your seventh year is over, you will become a graduate, and you get to chose to either become part of the staff at Hogwarts, or move on to the DM wizarding world.

About a couple times a week, there will be a trivia sign up, and two people get to go compete with each other. We will do this in either a chat room, or MSN, YIM, or AIM. (Depending on what everyone has; more likely a chat room.) The winner will get to chose from either 50 house points, Wizard of the Week, something from Diagon Alley, or something else.
